York Cantores: Spring 2010 Concert - Bach Motets

Welcome to the website of York Cantores, a chamber choir of about twenty four voices based in York. It performs three concerts a year in venues across the city including St Olave's Church, Marygate, the Early Music Centre and York Minster. The choir is directed by Peter Collis and performs a range of music, from Renaissance to modern. If you are a good sight-reader, and would like to be considered for membership of the choir please contact us at info@york-cantores.org. For our Spring concert we will be presenting a performance Six Bach Motets:

* Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied
* Der Geist hilft unser Schwachheit auf
* Jesu, meine Freude
* Fürchte dich nicht
* Komm, Jesu, komm!
* Lobet den Herrn alle Heiden

Date: Saturday March 20th 2010, 8pm at St Olave's Church, Marygate, York

Tickets: £9, concessions £7, under-16 £3, student standby at the door £3
