      <title>York Cantores</title>
      <link>http://www.york-cantores.org/</link>
<description>Welcome to the website of York Cantores, a chamber choir of about twenty four voices based in York. It performs three concerts a year in venues across the city including St Olave&apos;s Church, Marygate, the Early Music Centre and York Minster. The choir is directed by Peter Collis and performs a range of music, from Renaissance to modern.

If you are a good sight-reader, and would like to be considered for membership of the choir please contact us at info@york-cantores.org. We would be particularly interested in hearing from prospective basses and tenors.

We rehearse weekly on a Wednesday evening at 7.45 in Fishergate School, York</description>
