York Cantores http://www.york-cantores.org/ Welcome to the website of York Cantores, a chamber choir of about twenty four voices based in York. It performs three concerts a year in venues across the city including St Olave's Church, Marygate, the Early Music Centre and York Minster. The choir is directed by Marion Best and performs a range of music, from Renaissance to modern. We are very pleased to announced that Peter Collis has been appointed as her replacement. Our first concert under Peter's direction will be in November 2008, programme and further details to follow.
